Q1. What types of certificates can participants in the High-school Student Award activity receive?
There are 2 types:
a) Conference Participation Certificate – for those who pay the on-site registration fee
b) Award Certificate – for teams that receive awards
Q2. What is the High-school Student Award?
– Gold medals: 5 awards (1 medal per team)
– Silver and Bronze medals: 10 awards each (1 medal per team)
– Additional prizes from conference sponsors (To be announced on the website)
– Award Certificate listing all names appearing on the abstract, printed according to the number of names on the abstract. The abstract should include names of all project contributors, including teachers who supervised the project.
Q3. When must students present their posters on-site?
November 5, 2025
Q4. What registration payment options are available for the High-school Student Award participation?
Please choose one of the following options as appropriate:
a) One-day registration – participate only on November 5, 2025
b) Student registration – participate on November 4-5, 2025
c) Group registration for 5 or more students – participate on November 4-5, 2025
Q5. So many options, can we see some examples how to participate the High-school Student Award activity?
For teams with more than 1 high school student: At least 1 student must pay the on-site conference registration fee per project (or poster). Please be notified lunch and coffee breaks are arranged for those who pay the on-site conference registration fee ONLY.
Possible examples for three high school students, “A, B, C” who participating in the High-school Student Award activity:
Example 1: “A” pays on-site conference registration fee, and presents his/her poster on November 5, 2025 at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok. “A” will receive a Conference Participation Certificate, and can join lunch, coffee break, and attend scientific sessions.
Example 2: “A” pays on-site conference registration fee, with “B and C” joining the on-site presentation. Team members can present together. “A” will receive a Conference Participation Certificate and can join lunch, coffee-breaks, and attend scientific sessions.
Example 3: All 3 (A, B, C) pay on-site conference registration fee and present posters on-site. Each will receive a Conference Participation Certificates and can join lunch, coffee breaks, and attend scientific sessions.
Example 4: All 3 (A, B, C) pay on-site conference registration fee and present 3 separate poster works on-site. Each will receive a Conference Participation Certificates and can join lunch, coffee breaks, and attend breakout sessions.
In all 4 examples, if the team is selected, they will receive 1 medal per team and Award Certificates listing all names appearing on the abstract, printed according to the number of names on the abstract.
Q6. Can students submit more than one abstract/poster?
Yes, by being a member of other teams as shown in Example 4 in Q5. Or if students want to submit more than one poster/ abstract without having other team members as co-submitters, this is possible. Please contact the organizing committee via email at NanoThailand2025@gmail.com as a special case.
