This session invites contributions on a broad range of topics related to nanosafety and nanostandards. Reflecting the inherently multidisciplinary nature of the field, we welcome research spanning diverse scientific and methodological approaches.
We encourage submissions that explore nanosafety through experimental models including in vitro, in vivo, ex vivo, bioassays, in silico studies, and co-host systems. We are particularly interested in research that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) in standard development, risk assessment, and nanotoxicology.
Session Themes
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to
- Development and validation of test protocols
- Risk analysis methodologies
- Human health and environmental impacts of nanomaterials, nanoplastics, and ultrafine particles
- Advances in harmonization and standardization of nanosafety practices
This session aims to foster discussion and collaboration across disciplines to advance safe and responsible development of nanotechnologies.
