Scope

This symposium will focus on advancement in catalytic materials and processes for conversion of renewable feedstocks, especially cellulosic biomass, to a wide spectrum of bio-based chemicals and fuels.

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Biomass pretreatment and fractionation
  • Catalytic conversion of sugar and its derivative to biochemicals and biofuels
  • Heterogeneous catalysis
  • Homogeneous catalysis
  • Hydrogenation and Oxidation catalysts
